Introducing MrBluSkies
Dr. Marc Rhoades is MrBluSkies. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and a 1972 graduate of The Ohio State University, he is a practicing dentist who has resided in the Roswell/Alpharetta, Georgia area since 1974. When he's not cheering his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes to victory, there's a good chance you'll find "MrBluSkies" enjoying his favorite pastime… playing a banjo uke or one of his other sweet sounding ukuleles. He started playing the ukulele with his father over forty years ago and has been adding songs to his repertoire ever since. His music includes Old-Time Sing-A-Long favorites from the Gay Nineties and World War I eras, the music of Chauncey Olcott, George M. Cohen, Al Jolson, Irving Berlin, and many others. He frequently entertains at retirement homes and private parties, taking his audiences back to simpler times… times when men wore straw hats and crooned love songs to their favorite girls. He would love to go back in time with you too… so give him a call and book a "MrBluSkies Sing-A-Long". His love songs, Irish melodies, and patriotic music will leave a smile on your face and a song in your heart.
